Appeal after boy bitten by dog in Abbeydale

 

Police would like to speak to a man whose dog bit a four-year-old boy in Abbeydale on Sunday.

The incident happened at approximately 3.30pm while the boy was with his mother and sibling. They had walked though the tunnel under Heron Way leading towards Saintbridge Balancing Pond.

A dog, which was on a lead and being walked by a man, bit the boy on his collarbone while he was on a scooter.

The boy was shaken up and upset by the incident and suffered a graze, but did not require hospital treatment.

The dog is described as a black, tan and white Collie-Husky mix or German Shepherd type.
