Appeal after collision in Gloucester city centre

Police in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after a driver left the scene of a collision on Southgate Street last week.

The incident place at around 12.45pm on Friday 6 July and saw a black car pull out of the Docks car park before colliding with the victim’s vehicle.

The impact caused the victim’s Ford Focus to spin in the road.

A blonde haired woman got out of the offending car before shouting at the victim for driving too fast.

A man then got out of the car and told the victim to park up so that they could exchange details; the pair then got back in their car before driving away towards Bristol Road.

The offending car (which is thought to be a Nissan) had front end damage and we are asking for anyone who sees a car with similar damage to get in touch.

Witnesses are also asked to get in touch by calling 101 with incident 238 of 6 July
