Attempt theft of ATM machine in Cirencester

 

Officers are appealing for information after the attempted theft of an ATM machine from a supermarket in Cirencester.

Police were called shortly after 2.20am this morning to reports of a break in at a supermarket on Cricklade Road.

Unknown offenders in an old green Land Rover Defender rammed the front of the building which caused extensive damage.

Four males in dark clothing entered the store and made attempts to remove an ATM machine but no cash was taken.

A silver Audi A4 estate was also spotted at the scene and fled with the Land Rover.
