A comedian known to millions as one of the stars of 2016’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’ has had to reschedule his show at Cheltenham Racecourse after being sent back Down Under.

Joel Dommett was due to appear at the venue for one night only on Saturday, November 11 as part of a tour of the country.

But due to work commitments, this has now pushed back the gig until April 6, 2018 and tickets can be booked now.

The event, presented by Off The Kerb Productions, has been changed because the funny man will be heading back to the jungle to present ITV2 sister show, ‘I’m A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here… Extra Camp’.

Joel burst on to the comedy scene in 2007 and has never looked back receiving great critical acclaim for his Edinburgh Fringe shows.

He has gone on to appear in numerous television shows including Impractical Jokers (BBC3), Reality Bites (ITV2), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Drunk History (Comedy Central), and has performed in acting roles for Popatron (BBC2) and Skins (E4).

Lee Moulson, Regional Head of Sales at Cheltenham Racecourse, said: “Joel is a real comic talent and we are so pleased that he will be appearing at Cheltenham Racecourse.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the show being rescheduled, but we are really pleased that Joel can still make it to the venue.

“We have already got in touch with those that have purchased tickets and have sent them new ones for the rescheduled date. Anyone who can’t make that date has been offered a full refund.”

Tickets for the Cheltenham Racecourse show are now on sale. Tickets are priced at £20 for general tickets and £17 for students with proof of ID.
