Mobile phone stolen during incident in Cinderford

 

Police in the Forest of Dean are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Cinderford which happened yesterday.

At around 4.40pm, a teenage boy was grabbed from behind and pushed to the floor whilst walking near Edge Hills Close.

It’ believed that the male offender put a knife to the victim’s throat before stealing his Samsung mobile phone and running off towards the direction of the Fern Ticket pub.

The boy wasn’t physically injured during the incident.

The offender was wearing a dark hooded top with grey tracksuit bottoms and red trainers; he was of strong build and had a black scarf covering the bottom half of his face.
