Two charged in connection with Cashes Green assault


Two men have been charged in connection with assaults on a man and a 15-year-old boy in Cashes Green in Stroud at the end of March.

Following arrests in Porthcawl on Saturday (8 April) Jonathan French-Bell, of Victoria Drive, Eastington, Stonehouse and Stephen Randlesome, 27 and of Victoria Drive in Eastington, Stonehouse, were both charged yesterday with section 18 wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to a 33-year-old man and causing actual bodily harm to the 15-year-old boy.

The charges relate to an incident in Queens Drive, Cashes Green on Sunday 26 March.

Both were remanded to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court later today (Monday 10 April).

A 21-year-old man from Dursley arrested yesterday in connection with the incident remains in police custody today.
