Warning after harmful drugs stolen from vet’s van

Police are warning about the dangers of harmful animal drugs stolen from a vet’s van yesterday, Friday 16 February.

Between 6.30pm and 10.30pm unknown offenders gained entry to the van which was parked in Arlingham, Stroud.

Farrier equipment and medical supplies including animal euthanasia solution were stolen and police are appealing for information.

Whilst Gloucestershire Constabulary does not condone the use of drugs, there is a need to inform users that these drugs are potentially life-threatening and should not be used.

Anyone with information about the theft from the vehicle or the drugs is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 3 of 17 February.
