Police investigating a burglary in Tewkesbury are appealing for witnesses.

Two men forced entry to a property on Gloucester Road between 11am and 11.30am on Friday 30 September, tadalafil whilst the homeowner, sale a woman in her 80s, was inside.

She pleaded with them not to come in before they demanded money from her. She said she didn’t have any whilst the men searched her house. They then found a jewellery box and left the property with it in a blue Honda Jazz, which had another man waiting in the car.

The vehicle was later found abandoned near Ashchurch Road. The offenders, wearing balaclavas, hoodies and baseball caps, have then ran off in the direction of Morrison’s.

Insp Lee Solly, of the Tewkesbury policing area, said: “Thankfully the victim was not physically harmed during the incident, but has been left extremely shaken.

“We understand an incident of this nature can worry local residents and we wish to reassure you that we are doing all we can to trace these offenders.

“I also wish to stress that crimes like this are very rare in Tewkesbury and the area remains a safe place to live.”

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time should call police on 101 quoting incident 136 of 30 September.
