The event, order which is being officially opened by the Mayor of Cheltenham, promises a fun day out for all the family whilst raising funds for the local hospice which cares for local people with a life limiting condition.
With entry just £2.50 per adult with children under 12s free the day offers something for all ages at great value.
The young – and the young at heart – can enjoy children’s entertainment, games, face painting, stunt kite displays and a bouncy castle as well as live music and dance displays from special guests.
For the shoppers and bargain hunters there will be an abundance of gifts and treats on offer at craft, fashion and food stalls – from homemade cakes and preserves to children’s toys and retro fashion.
Renowned Cheltenham restaurant The Spice Lodge will also be serving up something tasty from their Pan Asian food stall.
Those looking for more traditional fayre can take part in the bottle tombola, peruse the second hand book stall and enter the charity raffle or enjoy an afternoon tea or bar and BBQ served in the hospice’s beautiful historic surroundings nestled in the foothills of the Cotswolds.
This year the event is being sponsored by Bristol Street Motors. New Car Sales Manager, Iain Sercombe said, “We are pleased to be given the opportunity to support such an important event. “We offer our specialist palliative and end of life care and ongoing support to local families free of charge, but need to raise £1.6 million every year to do so. It is through events like the Autumn Fayre and the generosity of local people that we can do this.”
