Appeal after mobile phone is stolen in Tetbury

 

Police appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place on Chavenage Lane in Tetbury at the weekend.

At around 6pm on Sunday (22 July), a male who was using a mobility scooter was approached from behind by two men.

One of the men demanded that the victim handed over his mobile phone and wallet which he did.

The offenders than ran off in the direction of Chavenage House.

The offenders are described as two males, aged around 30-40 years old who had dark hair and possibly spoke with Eastern European accents.

The stolen phone was a Rose Gold iPhone 7 which has a distinctive cracked screen and a photo of the victim’s black dog as a lock screen.

The wallet was made of black faux leather and contained various cards and cash.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident or two men matching the above descriptions to contact police on 101 with incident number 385 of 22 July.
