Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub is celebrating its first anniversary after a successful year serving the local community.
The hub, run by Freedom Leisure, has become a key centre for health, wellbeing and social activity in the area.
Over the past year, it has hosted hundreds of sessions, including youth clubs, fitness classes and community events, engaging more than 100 young people.
Residents have also taken part in activities such as coffee mornings, games nights and walking football.
To mark the milestone, a free open day will take place on April 28, offering gym access, fitness classes and family activities.
Mark Gale said the £7 million project was the result of years of work by the local community.
Organisers say the celebration is a way to thank residents for their support and encourage more people to get involved.
