A housebuilder has donated £1,500 to Cats Rescue Gloucestershire to support its work across Gloucestershire.
The charity provides shelter, veterinary care and rehoming support for cats, including strays and abandoned animals.
The donation was made during National Pet Month and will help cover rising costs, including vet bills and caring for an increase in kittens and injured cats.
Donna Perry, founder of the charity, said the funding comes at a crucial time as demand continues to grow.
The housebuilder, David Wilson Redrow South West, said the donation reflects its understanding of how stressful moving home can be for pets, particularly cats.
