Drivers heading into Cheltenham town centre face disruption after a major car park was suddenly closed.
Cheltenham Borough Council confirmed on Monday (September 1) that the Town Centre East multi-storey in Grosvenor Terrace, which has 354 spaces, has shut due to electrical supply issues.
The car park has been closed previously for cleaning and security improvements, with the council spending £70,000 last year on graffiti removal, repair work and measures to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Alternative parking is available at other council-managed car parks, on-street bays, and NCP facilities around the town.
