Colour run set to launch in Gloucestershire for children’s charities

A brand-new charity event is set to bring colour and community spirit to Gloucestershire this spring.

Colour Up For Kids will take place on May 9 at Plock Court in Gloucester, offering a 5km course where participants can run, walk or dance their way through clouds of coloured powder, bubbles and music.

The event is being organised by Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust and James Hopkins Trust.

Funds raised will support children and families facing childhood cancer and life-limiting conditions across the region.

Organisers say the event is designed to be inclusive, welcoming people of all ages and abilities, with a focus on fun rather than competition.

Alongside the run, there will be an event village featuring food, entertainment and family activities.

Participants will also receive items such as sunglasses, coloured powder and a meal as part of the experience.

Tickets are available now, with organisers encouraging the community to get involved and support the cause.
