Four men arrested following high value burglary

Detectives investigating a high value burglary in Bibury in July have arrested four men.

The men, aged 40, 42, 43 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of burglary following coordinated warrants in Cheltenham and the Evesham area this morning.

They remain in custody while enquiries continue.

Officers were called on Monday 9 July to reports of a burglary at Glebe House in Bibury where four suspects are believed to have climbed a seven foot wall to gain entry to the grounds.

The burglary, which took place in the evening, saw offenders leave with jewellery and antiques which had an estimated value in excess of one million pounds.

A CCTV appeal was made last month and anyone who has information about the crime is still urged to call 101 and quote incident 595 of 9 July.
