Seven extra car parking spaces, vcialis 40mg which are free to park in for one hour, help have been created in Lydney’s Newerne Street Car Park.
Redundant garages owned by the District Council have been demolished and the area resurfaced to create the spaces which will be open from Monday.
Fourteen similar one hour free spaces were introduced last August in Mitcheldean.
Cllr Brian Robinson, Cabinet Member for Planning Policy and Finance at Forest of Dean District Council said: “We are very pleased to be able to introduce this additional parking into Lydney. We hope these spaces will be well used by residents and visitors needing to pop into the town.”
The latest spaces were the idea of Cllr James Bevan, District Councillor for Lydney East.
Cllr Bevan added: “I was aware that the garages were underused and thought the space could provide some short term car parking that would be better for the convenience shops and doctors’ surgery in Newerne Street. This work means there are over 60 free car parking spaces within 100 metres of Newerne Street.”
