Former Conservative MP for Gloucester, Richard Graham, has lost his seat to Labour’s Alex McIntyre.
Mr Graham has been the city’s MP since 2010 and says he does not plan to stand again.
Speaking after his win, Mr McIntyre said: “Thank you so much to everyone who voted Labour in Gloucester.
Change starts here. I will repay the trust you have placed in me.
To those who voted for other parties, I promise to serve pur whole city – irrespective of party politics – with dedication and determination.”
