Gloucestershire College has announced plans to open a second campus in Cheltenham in autumn 2026.
The new site will be based at the former University of Gloucestershire Hardwick campus, a 37,000 square foot facility located around ten minutes from the town centre.
The expansion aims to meet growing demand for post-16 education, with an initial focus on construction courses and entry-level “First Steps” programmes.
College leaders say the development will improve access to education, particularly for young people with special educational needs and those needing additional support.
The project also supports priorities set out by Gloucestershire County Council to strengthen pathways into further education and employment.
Refurbishment work is due to begin soon, with recruitment underway ahead of the campus opening to students next year.
