How did Gloucestershire MPs to vote on whether to hold Mandelson inquiry

Some Labour MPs say it’s “wrong” to order backbenchers to oppose an attempt to launch an investigation into Sir Keir Starmer.

A number of the Prime Minister’s colleagues believe he should report himself to the Privileges Committee over the appointment of Peter Mandelson.

The cross-party motion was defeated last night – 223 votes to 335.
