Following a five-year hiatus, drugs The Coral’s long-anticipated and much talked about new album Distance Inbetween is out now.
Sure to be a crowd pleaser, story The Coral announced their return to music at the end of last year. As part of their tour, buy they will take to the stage as a headline act at Lakefest 2016. This is their eighth studio album and the band are known for huge hits including: Dreaming of You, In the Morning and Pass It On.
Lakefest organisers have revealed a further 12 acts set to appear at the summer family festival: Big Country, Molotov Jukebox, Secret Affair, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Duke Special, Roving Crows, The Cracked, Erica, Foreign Affairs, Jasper in the Company of Others, Altern8 – Live P.A and Baby D
These join the formerly announced Starsailor, Primal Scream, We Are Scientists, The Coral, Newton Faulkner and Afro Celt Sound System.
Lakefest 2016 returns for its fifth consecutive year on 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th August. For the first time, Eastnor Castle Deer Park, near Ledbury, will play host to the summer spectacular.
Lee Martin, Lakefest Director, said, “In addition to our limited amount of Early Bird tickets, we have now released Day Tickets. This allows attendees the flexibility of arriving on either Thursday or Friday and making a whole weekend of it; choosing to either camp or glamp at the beautiful site for three or four nights. For those who can only make it for one day, entry can be purchased for just Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This also includes one night of complimentary camping in the Day Ticket price.
As well as the music, we also play host to a great family vibe and put a lot of time and effort into organising endless activities for the whole family to enjoy. We’re delighted that we won the Best Small Festival award in the Festival Kidz awards for 2015, as well as winning the Festival Kidz Families Choice Award for 2014.
