A man has been found guilty of murder and attempted murder by a jury at Bristol Crown Court today.

Ewen Reynolds, buy cialis aged 45, of Foley Close in Tuffley, was found guilty of murdering Zac Evans and attempting to murder Keaton Jones, after a two week long trial.

At around 12.40am on Saturday 24 January 2015, Reynolds attacked Zac Evans with a machete in the car park of the Pike and Musket pub in Tuffley, Gloucester. The 19-year-old sustained a fatal wound to his neck and died almost instantly.

Zac Evans’ friend, Keaton Jones, aged 23, was also attacked by Reynolds with the machete during the incident and suffered a serious wound to his ear, neck and back of his head. Thankfully, he survived the attack.

Reynolds has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Friday 8 January.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Porter, the Senior Investigating Officer of the case, said: “This was a horrific attack on two young men with devastating consequences including the tragic death of Zac Evans and many other lives changed forever.

“Our thoughts now are with Zac’s family, friends and all those who loved him. Nothing can bring him back but I hope today’s verdict has given Zac’s family some sense of justice at this difficult time.

“This shocking incident is a reminder of the fateful consequences of people carrying or using weapons. I hope if nothing else Zac’s tragic death and the sentence of life imprisonment given to Ewen Reynolds can act as a deterrent to ensure such an incident never happens again.”
