A man in his 70s was rescued from the River Wye by fire crews in Hereford in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Bridge at around 3:15am.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that crews from Hereford, Ewyas Harold and Fownhope attended, along with Hereford’s water first responders, specialist boat teams from Hereford and Worcester, and the service drone from Ledbury.
The man was pulled from the water and handed over to the care of paramedics, with police also in attendance.
The incident was declared over just after 6:30am.
