New digger and dinosaur attraction opens in Cirencester

A new family attraction called The Dig has opened at The Woolmarket in Cirencester.

The venue was created by Bethyn Barrass and Cath Winterburn, who transformed their idea into a fully operational business in just seven weeks.

The attraction features two indoor remote-controlled construction pits, where visitors can operate miniature excavators, loaders and tipper trucks.

There is also a dinosaur excavation experience where children can uncover fossils and dinosaur skeletons, alongside a family-friendly café serving locally sourced products.

The Dig opened on 19 October and is designed for both children and adults to enjoy together.

Construction sessions start at £12.50, while dinosaur digging costs £8.
