Police investigate armed robbery in Northleach

 

Police are investigating an armed robbery which happened at a Cotswold store last night.

Officers were called to the Cotswold Stores, Market Place, Northleach at about 8.05pm after three men had threatened staff with a pick axe and other weapons before making off with cash from the till.

Three offenders, all men, had entered the store shortly before 8.00pm.

The offenders, all described as wearing dark clothing and face coverings, left the shop and are believed to have made off in a car.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in Market Place, Northleach earlier in the evening and either saw the offenders or an unfamiliar vehicle arrive in or leave the area.
