Police are investigating a report made about a man’s behaviour being suspicious and him following a woman in Broadwell, near Stow-on-the-Wold.
The incident happened on Sunday 13 April at around 10.50am when an unknown man approached a woman who was walking her dog on the bridle path from Broadwell to Stow.
He was in the hedge and began to take photos of the woman on his phone when she tried to pass him. He then followed the woman and she ran, and she was able to get away from him. She then saw him hiding behind a hedge.
The bridle path connects Broadwell Hill to ‘The Wells’ near Well Lane in Stow-on-the-Wold.
The man was described as being aged around 35 to 40, is 5ft 9/10ins in height, with dark hair. He had been wearing all black clothing at the time, including black trainers and a black puffer type jacket.
The local neighbourhood policing team will be conducting extra patrols in the area and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been subjected to something similar or who may know who the man is.
