Police have closed the A361 Burford Street in Lechlade following a serious collision this afternoon (Friday 5 April).
Emergency services were called at 12pm with a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and car.
An elderly woman is being assessed by paramedics after sustaining suspected serious injuries.
Closures have been put into place on the stretch of road from Burford to Lechlade and Lechlade to Fairford while emergency services remain at the scene.
Motorists are asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
