Gloucestershire County Council has launched a consultation on future support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The new SEND Sufficiency Strategy will set out plans for provision between 2026 and 2031.
Proposals include expanding specialist school places, improving mainstream support, and boosting early years and post-16 options.
The council says demand for SEND services is rising, despite creating more than 500 additional places since 2019.
Residents, families and professionals are being encouraged to take part before the consultation closes on 23 June.
