A new Mexican-inspired restaurant is set to open in a former coffee shop in Cheltenham.

Taco Bell has signed a 10-year lease to the former Caffe Nero unit on High Street.

No opening date has been announced but the company is now recruiting staff.

Taco Bell is already planning to open a drive-thru restaurant in Gloucester.

The food includes Mexican classics like tacos, burritos and quesadillas.

As well as food the venue sells popular soft drinks including Pepsi, Tango, Mountain Dew, Tropicana Orange and lemon and Strawberry Freeze.

Desserts include cinnamon twists and churros and dips.
