Police are asking residents to be vigilant following a recent series of shed breaks and thefts from motor vehicles in Cheltenham.
It’s been reported that a number of sheds, outbuildings and vehicles have been broken into across the town over recent weeks.
These incidents have seen offenders steal a number of items including power tools and personal belongings which had been left inside vehicles. There have also been reports of vehicle interference which includes trying car door handles.
Vehicle and shed breaks are often opportunistic with officers asking the public to please check that doors are locked and personal belongings or valuables are removed where possible.
