Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a sexual assault on board a train between Bristol Temple Meads and Cheltenham.
On Thursday 29 February sometime between 6pm and 6.20pm a man touched a woman inappropriately while sat next to her in carriage C of the Cross Country service.
The woman left her seat to get away from the man and was then helped by other passengers in an adjacent carriage.
Detectives are appealing for any passengers who saw the incident or assisted the female victim afterwards to get in contact.
A 30 year old man has been arrested and bailed.
