Firefighters were called to rescue a bird which had become stuck behind a gas fire in Longlevens this afternoon.
One appliance from Gloucester South Community Fire Station attended with a crew of 5 firefighters to a house in Lavington Drive.
The crew carefully removed the gas fire and released the bird. The bird although distressed was uninjured.
The crew were at the scene for an hour and 15 mins.
