Gloucestershire Police have given a further news conference following a major incident in Whelford this morning.
Speaking at Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Waterwells Headquarters in Gloucester, temporary chief constable Maggie Blyth confirmed counter terrorism police are leading the investigation.
She says she is “unable to provide any additional information” related to that.
Blyth acknowledges that the arrests “will have no doubt caused some shock and anxiety” in the community and a cordon remains in place around the vehicles.
She adds that residents from about 85 households are currently unable to return home.
