More than 20 drivers were caught speeding during a traffic operation in the Cotswolds earlier.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, alongside the DVSA, Roads Policing Unit and a local member of the Speedwatch group conducted the operation on the A429 Fosseway in Stow.
20 vehicles were caught exceeding the 30mph limit, these vehicles were issued with tickets and warnings about their speed.
The DVSA carried out vehicle checks on these cars to ensure all cars were road legal. They also carried out vehicle checks on HGV’s to ensure the loads were safe and complying to the maximum load they were able to carry.
