Police in the Forest of Dean are appealing for information following the theft of an electric bike.
It happened on Gloucester Street in Newent on Monday at around 1:30am.
Two individuals, believed to be male in their late 20s to early 30s, wearing black and grey workers trousers, both believed to have dark hair, were seen to cut through bike locks securing 2 electric bikes to the back of a camper van.
Officers said the offenders were interrupted and only managed to take one of the bikes – a black E-bike High Bike with panniers.
The individuals involved are believed to have walked from the area of Newent Lake, spotted the bikes, carried on towards St Barts before returning to commit the theft.
