Police in Stroud are appealing for the owners of jewellery found in a ditch at the side of a road near Brookthorpe to come forward.
The items were found on Haresfield Lane, recipe between Brookthorpe and Hardwicke near to the junction with the B4008 at around 5pm on Tuesday afternoon(February 23).
The items found include earrings, ask necklaces, a bracelet and a brooch as well as assorted boxes including a large jewellery box, the value of these items is not known. It is believed that they were stolen during a burglary earlier that day.
Anyone who may recognise the items is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 294 of February 23.
