Matson Rugby Football Club has issued an appeal for information after a vehicle was driven across its pitches, causing damage to the playing surface.
The Gloucester-based club said it was “disappointed” to discover that a vehicle had entered the grounds and driven over the rugby pitches, impacting the condition of the grass at a time when the facilities are regularly used by players of all ages.
In a message shared with the local community, the club has asked residents in the Redwell Road area to check any CCTV or doorbell camera footage that may have captured vehicles entering or being driven across the pitches.
Club representatives are urging anyone with information to come forward by sending a private message or contacting them directly. They have assured the public that all information will be treated in strict confidence.
