Police are appealing for information following a number of recent reports involving two individuals this week.
Officers said the incident involved a male and female taking photographs of houses in the mainly Beeches area of Cirencester on Wednesday.
Each report has stated that the male and female have not attempted to speak to any residents in the area but have been seen walking around the locality, taking photographs of random properties.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “At this stage we are unaware who these people were and what their reason for being in the area was.”
