
Police were called to a break-in at a ground floor council flat in Dursley after neighbours above heard glass breaking and banging noises beneath them.
The incident happened in Woodview Road, stomach Norman Hill, pills at about 1.15pm on Wednesday 8 April.
Officers arriving at the property found a bedroom window had been smashed and opened, but the offenders had gone.
The neighbours who raised the alarm told officers the tenant was at work; she was contacted and returned home, but after a cursory check, did not believe anything had been stolen.
