Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured during a collision in Cheltenham last week.
Officers were called with a report that a pedestrian and car, believed to be a white taxi, had been involved in a collision in the area of Amberley Road, St Marks, at around 10.20am on Thursday (25 July).
The driver of the car failed to stop to check on the welfare of the pedestrian or to provide details and continued on their journey.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, reported having neck and elbow pain and later sought medical attention.
Officers attended and a taxi in the area was stopped, however the driver was not believed to have been the motorist involved.
Enquiries are continuing and the driver of the car is asked to make contact and give an account of what happened.
As well as this, officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage they feel may be relevant.
