Drivers are being warned to face severe delays after a lorry overturned on the M5 this morning.
The Southbound carriageway is closed between J8 M50 and J11 A40 Golden Valley Bypass (Gloucester / Golden Valley Bypass). The lorry has overturned between J9 Tewkesbury and J10 Cheltenham.
The lorry has overturned and split its fuel tanks spilling up to 600 litres of fuel across the carriageway.
Police have also closed the Southbound entry slip at J8 and J9.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service say two appliances from Tewkesbury Fire Station were sent, viagra 100mg along with an appliance from Gloucester North Fire Station and their Specialist Incident Support Unit as a lorry was involved.
The officer in charge at the incident requested the attendance of the Environmental Protection Unit from Stroud Fire Station to help contain the fuel spillage. The Environmental Protection Unit and Tewkesburys appliances have left the scene however the appliance and Specialist Incident Support Unit from Gloucester North Fire Station is still on scene making safe.
Police say the driver only suffered minor injuries.
All three lanes of the carriageway will have to be resurfaced. Closures are expected to remain in place until 20:00.
Road users are advised to plan ahead, pills allow extra time to complete their journeys and to consider alternative routes where possible.
