Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has confirmed the sale of Brockworth Care Centre in Gloucester, a purpose-built dementia nursing home registered for up to 52 residents.

Located on four acres of land in the village of Brockworth, on the outskirts of Gloucester, the home was previously owned and operated by MHA. Following a confidential sales process led by Oliver McCarthy, Director of Care at Christie & Co, the facility has been acquired by Ashberry Care Homes, which now operates nine homes across England and South Wales.

Nigel Denny, CEO of Ashberry Care Homes, said: “We’re proud to announce that Ashberry Healthcare has officially acquired Brockworth House Nursing Home in Gloucester. This marks an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow our family of care homes and provide exceptional, person-centred care across the UK. We look forward to supporting the wonderful team and residents at Brockworth House and welcoming them into the Ashberry Healthcare family.”

Mr McCarthy added: “It was a pleasure to sell Brockworth Care Home to the team at Ashberry Care Homes. I look forward to seeing how they take the business to further success.”

The sale price has not been disclosed.
