Three of the region’s oldest schools have formed a new partnership called the Three Choirs Schools Group.
Hereford Cathedral School, The King’s School, Gloucester and The King’s School, Worcester are working together to strengthen education across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
The schools will remain independent but collaborate on academic programmes, staff training and extracurricular activities.
Plans include shared events, music collaborations and improved learning opportunities for more than 2,600 pupils.
Leaders say the partnership will build on their shared heritage while preparing students for the future.
