People are being invited to try woodcarving at a special workshop at the University of Gloucestershire’s Park Campus in Cheltenham.
The hands-on workshop will take place on Wednesday 7 October in the grounds of Park Campus.
It will be led by expert woodcarver and Artist in Residence Natasha Houseago.
Participants will learn how to remove bark and shape a simple carved design using wood including ash, lime, red cedar, hornbeam and cherry.
All tools and materials will be provided, and people will be able to take their carving home.
There will be two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with up to 10 places available in each.
The workshop forms part of the University of Gloucestershire’s wider Creative Campus programme.
