Jockey Danny Cook has been suspended from riding for six months after testing positive for a banned substance.
Cook was given the six month ban by the British Horseracing Authority yesterday.
He was a Cheltenham Festival winner five years ago, viagra order but an enquiry has found that he had tested positive for a banned substance, help benzoylecgonine, a form of cocaine, at a meeting in February.
In his defence, the panel heard how Cook had admitted the breach from an early stage and he should receive some reduction in penalty.
But the panel said that as an experienced jockey, taking a substance, which later proved to be an illegal Class A drug, the night before he was booked to take six rides, which he then rode, was a serious matter. He is now banned from racing until 24th August.
