Councillor Marrilyn Smart, District Council Cabinet Member for Environment said: “We are pleased with the result of this case. This is another successful prosecution of a local resident who has failed to dispose of their waste responsibly. We would remind residents of the importance of checking that waste operators are fully licensed before using their services. The Council will continue to actively pursue waste crime and investigate and prosecute where there is sufficient evidence.”
