Lisa Mayo, head of Gloucestershire Music said: “His enthusiasm for gospel music was truly infectious and the students and staff can’t wait for you to hear their Christmas Gospel repertoire on Sunday
“Gloucestershire Music is proud of the national awards their county music groups, bands and music centres have achieved again this year and they would love to share with you the talent that we have in this county, as well as getting you in that Christmas spirit”
Nathaniel Morrison said: “I am grateful to have been offered the opportunity to work with Gloucestershire Music who welcomed me with open arms.
“I often pride myself in sharing my love and passion for Gospel music with anyone remotely interested. It was a blessing to work with such a ridiculously talented group of young adult vocalists and musicians.
“I found their dedication and commitment to music, including the staff, admirable and it has left a lasting impression on me.”
People who attend can expect to enjoy fantastic performances of Lieutenant Kije, movements from The Nutcracker Suite and Pictures at an Exhibition provided by the youth orchestra along with festive, jazzy Christmas favourites from the jazz orchestra.
Cllr Paul McLain, cabinet member for children and young people said: “What better way to get into the Christmas spirit. As the festive season reaches full swing I would encourage all music lovers to come and listen to some of Gloucestershire’s youngest musical stars. It promises to be a wonderful evening of music.”
The concert starts at 6pm and tickets cost £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. Tickets are available from Cheltenham Town Hall Box Office or on the website at www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk
