Cheltenham Inspector Tim Waterhouse will be taking questions during a webchat between 6pm and 7pm this Thursday.
Residents are being urged to send any questions or concerns they may have about crime in the town to the man in charge of local policing.
The online discussion will be the first in a series of regular local policing webchats, search with more to follow from all local Inspectors in the county in the coming weeks.
It is hoped the initiative will provide people with a fresh platform to interact with their local police and help keep officers in touch with community issues.
Anyone who wants to take part in the webchat should log into https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/neighbourhood-policing/cheltenham-local-policing-web-chat/
