Counterfeit cigarettes have been found and seized by police and Trading Standards officers from a shop on Barton Street.
It follows reports from the local community about illegal sales.
A vehicle was also seized from All Saints Road that was linked to the shop, abandoned with no tax.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed an application is in place to close the shop down.
