Police have criticised a couple for breaching COVID rules by going for a ‘non-essential’ drive and crashing their car.
Emergency services were called to A424 between Bourton-on-the-Hill and Fulbrook on Sunday.
The incident led to a large response of emergency vehicles including three ambulances and five police cars.
In a tweet, Cotswolds Police said: “Another reason to only leave the house for essential trips. This couple decided to go for a drive in the cotswolds and ended up crashing resulting in attendance of 3 ambulances, 2 fire engines and 5 police cars. Luckily there were no serious injuries.”
