Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information that could help police identify a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Gloucester.
On 18 January this year, three men travelled from Birmingham to Gloucester, where they shot a man outside his home in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity. The victim suffered life-changing injuries.
After the attack, the men fled back to the West Midlands — two returning to Birmingham and the third to Walsall.
Two men, Simeon Bernard and Darren Atkins, both from Birmingham, have since been jailed for their roles in the shooting. Gloucestershire Police, supported by Crimestoppers, are now trying to trace the third suspect.
A Crimestoppers spokesperson said: “We are urging anyone with information to do the right thing. You can speak to us 100% anonymously — we never ask for your name or record your details.”
Anyone with information can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
